Trying to set up my computer but got stuck when trying to pick country or region

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

Are you doing a new PC setup or did you reinstall Windows on your existing PC?

 

A new PC should not freeze during setup. And seeing a new PC freeze during initial setup could indicate a hardware problem.

 

Try a shutdown by depressing and holding down the power button.

 

Disconnect any unnecessary peripherals. Only use a: mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

 

Restart the PC and try again.

 

I would return the PC for an exchange/refund if you can't setup a new PC.

 

Your existing PC would also have a hardware problem if you can't reinstall Windows.
