Hi @jheneaikoslover,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Omen laptop is stuck in a boot loop after a factory reset. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue.

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Disconnect all peripheral devices (external hard drives, USB drives, printers, etc.).
  3. Unplug the power adapter.
  4. Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.
  5. Reconnect the power adapter.
  6. Turn on the laptop and see if it boots normally.

Access the Startup Menu

  1. Turn on your laptop.
  2. Press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  3. From the Startup Menu, select the F11 key to access the System Recovery options.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to attempt another system recovery.

Boot into Safe Mode

  1. Turn on your laptop and press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  2. Select F11 to enter System Recovery.
  3. Instead of proceeding with the recovery, try booting into Safe Mode:
    • Select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Select Startup Settings.
    • Click Restart.
    • After the restart, press 4 or F4 to boot into Safe Mode.

Check BIOS Settings

  1. Turn on your laptop and press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  2. Select F10 to enter the BIOS Setup.
  3. Check if the hard drive is recognized in the BIOS.
  4. Ensure the boot order is correct and that the primary boot device is set to the internal hard drive.
  5. Save changes and exit the BIOS.

Perform a System Diagnostic Test

  1. Turn on your laptop and press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  2. Select F2 to access System Diagnostics.
  3. Run a full system diagnostic test to check for any hardware issues.

Reinstall Windows Using a USB Drive

  1. Create a Windows 10/11 installation USB drive using another computer. You can download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's website.
  2. Insert the USB drive into your HP Omen laptop.
  3. Turn on the laptop and press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
  4. Select F9 to access the Boot Device Options.
  5. Choose the USB drive as the boot device.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall Windows.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
