HP Omen 30L
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey guys,

So I just setup my newly purchased HP Omen 30L from PC World, no issues with plugging it all in and whatnot. However when I turn the monitor and PC on the PC makes some beeping noises immediately and repeats a few times, there is no signal being sent to the monitor through the HDMI?

This model only seems to have 1 HDMI port and 3 DP's, all 4 in a line on the graphics card itself. Everything is plugged in snug, seeing as this is just out of the box does anyone have any thoughts why this is happening? I've ordered a DP to HDMI cable so I can try the other ports tomorrow, its just odd.

Hi,

The BIOS error code beep cadence would be good to know.

Could be a bad graphics card, or the card is not correctly seated in the PCIe slot, or the PCIe power supply connections need to be reseated on the discrete graphics card.

See here for BIOS error codes (Link). A 3:3 error code refers to a graphics problem.

Return the PC or contact HP Support (Link).

The above troubleshooting options are based on the assumption the monitor works and supports DisplayPort.

Regards
