OLD HP Pavillion P6658uk with foxconn-2abf mobo Zotac 1050ti 8GB ddr3 ram
was running pre disassembly for selling as parts but needed to rebuild.
LED power light comes on but when I press power button on top of case nothing happens
have checked and double-checked all connections but won't power up to boot?

HI
If all components are installed correctly and all MB wiring connections are verified you may have a coincidental component failure or damage has occurred when tearing down and rebuilding the PC. You may have damaged CPU socket pins if you removed and reinstalled the CPU.
Troubleshooting requires testing the PC in a minimum configuration, one stick of RAM at a time in each memory slot and onboard graphics if the CPU supports this, and swapping in good components, one at a time, until you find the bad part.
