I have a brand new OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-1380z that has an issue. It boots up fine, no beeps but I cant get it to display anything at all. I've tried different inputs and cables, no matter what I cant get a display. Working in IT for over 20 years I know some tricks and no matter what I do I cant get it to do display anything, even a BIOS screen. Im hoping I got a bad GPU (and not a motherboard issue), so I bought a different video card that will be here on Tuesday just to verify. Fingers crossed that is the issue otherwise I'm not sure what the next step is. I actually have a stock Ryzen 7/Omen 30L from last year that I'm super pleased with so I was surprised that I'm having problems with this one. Anyone have any ideas of what could be happening or how to rectify? Thanks in advance

Hi@OmenDude,
Thanks for engaging in the HP support community! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I understand that you need assistance with the no display. I’ll be glad to assist you with this.
Check with an alternate video cable (HDMI or DisplayPort™1)
If the issue persists, try the below steps:
The displays resolution used by Windows has probably been set to a resolution that cannot be used by the monitor. Use the following steps to see if the monitor can display screens from safe mode:
- Cycle the power on the monitor as follows:
- Turn off the monitor. The power light on the monitor should be off. Leave the computer turned on.
- Unplug the power cord.
- Wait 5 seconds.
- Plug in the power cord.
- Press the power button on the monitor to turn on the monitor.
One of two things happens:
- The image from the computer displays on the monitor and you can use the computer again. This indicates that the monitor was unable to detect that the computer had awakened from suspend mode. Turn the monitor off when it is not being used or disable suspend mode on the computer. For some computers, updating the BIOS can correct these types of suspending problems.
OR
- The power light on the monitor comes on but the screen displays one of the messages again. The monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer that it can detect and use. Continue using these steps.
- If the computer is on, wait until the hard drive activity light on the computer is not lit and then press and hold the Power button on the computer case until the computer turns off.
- If the monitor has a factory reset or restore options, set it. Press the Menu button on the front panel and select Factory Reset.
- Wait 5 seconds and then turn on the computer by pressing the Power button again.
- Adjust the Windows display resolution to a setting that is compatible with the monitor.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
