My son recently purchased a OMEN 30L running Windows 11 Home Edition Version 21H1 and the computer automatically powers up after AC power loss without pressing front power button. Is there a way to set the BIOS so the front panel On button actually turns power on after an AC power loss?

Hello

In the bios you may have an option to enable or disable startup after a power loss..

I advise to deactivate it, it is a significant risk for the components

If I understood correctly, the light does not come on, this should not be the case, and I doubt it is a bios option.

I also seem to have read a message about this, after a windows 11 update, but it did, even without restarting.. whatever, I don't even know if I'll find this discussion
