OMEN 45L (RTX 5090) random black-screen + fans at 100% — intermittent,

Hello all — OMEN 45L (RTX 5090). A few weeks ago my PC black-screened mid-game; fans went to 100% and it only recovered after a hard power-off. It was fine for a bit, but now it’s happening back-to-back. This seems to be a common issue on this forum and on reddit, yet HP support wants a clean Windows reinstall and a live repro (not realistic since it’s intermittent). The windows reinstall did not help. 

Questions: Has anyone fixed this long-term? If HP repaired yours, what did they replace (PSU/GPU/cable), and did it solve it? How do I get them to actually help with this? Thanks!

i have the hp omen 45L and done know if this is relatyed but since the start of november there was a bios f.33 update omen package update some apps in microsoft store dolby ands hp pc hardwerar diagnostics and the nvidia driver update for b07, ive had rock solid stability until a few small days after november. ill turn pc on and may run for 5 min, black screens fans 100% then will sometimes save itself by comming back to the login screen. otherwise hold powerbutton. ive done the full reset from hp cloud restore where ive brought the unit back to the out of the box settings and drivers etc, still checked windows updates only the hp driver app and im still gettinfg it. only thing thats ledt after a full usb out of the box reset is the bios f.33... is that the issue?

may i add after the first black screen and recovery, gameplay in fine for hours. useually. in gameplay or internet explorer or nvida app, only other things ive observed is dolby atmos is not outputting to soundbar on the auto restart after a black screen but i useally dont play game through myu home theater it was just for the bo7 campaign.
