Provost, Could you give me some suggestions for gaming RAM? im not sure how to go about matching frequency and speeds. Looking at a few G.SKill RAM models but they are all 2400 and 3200 speeds.

This is the cheapest I could find.

I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest. I would rather have quality over saving a few dollars. I just dont really know how to compare one set of RAM to another. But from what i have read G.Skill Ripjaw and Trident are good ones right? I just don't know which ones to buy based on their speed etc

> What about something made by G.Skill [or] Crucial?
My impression is that G.Skill makes "gaming" RAM -- designed for those who "overclock", and often with add-on heat-sinks, to spread any heat generated by the RAM.
The use of "gaming" causes the generation of heat.
How much "cooling" (fans?) do you currently have inside your computer?
What is the temperature of the air being exhausted from your computer?
Does it need to be any cooler?
Do you need to convert to a water-cooled system?
