OMEN 870-213W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

OMEN 870-213W Front light display is fixed on one color and is not changing when i use the HP OMEN Control aplication to change the colors or to turn off the lights or to change the color modes. What can i do to solve this problem?

You downloaded and installed “many versions” of the Omen control software in September. Unless there is physical damage to the controller or the connector is off, you should really clean all those extra installs up and download the one appropriate for your machine. Newer versions control both the front and the inside case lighting. Newer machines have a big panel of glass on the side makes the whole thing light up.

if you did inadvertently manage to push one these versions have you tried adjusting the “inside” colors to see if it affects the front?

Try to remove all the software you’re not using and if you’re comfortable with Regedit try to clean them out.

if your not comfortable then after every software removal restart the machine. Try one at a time.
