OMEN 40L Desktop PC GT21-0000a (3G5Y9AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I received my OMEN 40L (5800x/3080) just over a week ago and whilst everything works as expected when the 'Balanced' power mode is selected in the OMEN Gaming Hub, I'm noticing issues if I then change to the 'Performance' power mode. In Total war Warhammer for example there is lag and the sound becomes choppy, issues which are not present if I play it using the balanced power mode. I decided to do some further investigation using Cinebench and 3D Mark with the results summarised below:

CINEBENCH

CPU (Multi Core)

10 min Balanced power mode - 14141 / 30 min Balanced power mode - 13993
10 min Performance power mode - 1498 / 30 min Performance power mode - 1506

CPU (Single Core)

Balanced power mode - 1579
Performance power mode - 1572

3DMARK

Time Spy Balanced power mode - GPU Score 16939 / CPU Score 10340
Time Spy Performance power mode - GPU Score 5422 / CPU Score 1486

As you can clearly see the scores are remarkably different in both programs if I use the performance power mode in the gaming hub apart from the CPU single core test in Cinebench which gave almost the same result. I'm not an expert by any means but could it be that in performance mode the CPU is being locked to a single core? Any help or advice would be much appreciated, if I have to never use the performance mode then so be it but this shouldn't be the case on a brand new system.
