Hi

 

is anyone familar with upgrading the motherboard in the HP omen, I was looking at doing it, but I noticed the power connector is very odd. Would I need a new cable or something.

@Simplyd2, welcome to the forum.

 

HP has their motherboards made to their specifications.  For this reason there may be some connectors that are not standard.  However, here is the "Motherboard Specifications" page.  It appears from the diagram that there is a standard 24-pin ATX power connector.
