Omen 30L
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought an OMEN 30L PC yesterday, everything is running well except for a noise coming out of the power supply. It's like a hard drive read/white noise that I can hear every few seconds while actively using the pc. It's a Cooler Master 500W PSU. I read that it could be the fan or a coil whine.

Here's the link: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-omen-gaming-desktop-amd-ryzen-5-5600g-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx...

I'm new to PCs (always used laptops), so what are my options now? Does it matter if I let it be? Or do I need a replacement power supply? How do I get it? I don't want to send the whole desktop back.

Please advise.

@arahman86 , welcome to the Community.

You shouldn't have to work on a new computer.  I suggest that you contact BestBuy to see what they want you to do.  They will either repair it or replace it, if necessary.  Don't let it go.  It will most likely get worse.

Good luck!

Since the warranty is through HP (I suppose), I'd like to know how HP can help.

The reason that I recommended contacting BestBuy first is, they may be able to solve your problem more quickly.  You will have to contact HP Customer Support for help if that is the way you want to go.
