I fitted an extra SSD in my Omen 40L and I see that there are an extra two trays for two
extra SSD/HDD but only one spare power cable.
Why are there not two spare power cables available, one for each tray ?

So that's what I was saying, it's the data cable that's missing.
So check if there is a sata port available on the motherboard, and yes buy another cable to add another hdd / ssd

In reply to my own post please excusee my ignorance but I made a mistake, I am new to the Omen and PCs in general coming from a Mac background.
On further investigation there are two twin power plug cables making 4 power plugs in total but there is only one data cable.
So if I was to add a second extra SSD would I need to add an extra data cable for it ?
