I have a new HP 17 Laptop PC Product number: 7P3Q0A. I do not do gaming so do not need the Omen gaming hub in my usage. Is there an issue with removing this program? It is wasted space for my usage.

No, you can delete it without causing any problems.  It is always available to install later if you change your mind.
