OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV)

I recently tried to check the bios of my omen pc, everything went fine but when I tried gaming after launching into the bios I had half of the fps that I usually got. I went back into the bios and put everything into default settings again plus did a system restore to the point before I checked my bios. But it still has poor performance now. Any hints?

Hi @max_ti

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I can't think of any reason why checking the BIOS would adversely affect system performance if you did not change any BIOS settings when you were in the BIOS.

Resetting the BIOS to defaults could cause issues if you did any BIOS mods prior to resetting the BIOS.

Maybe you have a coincidental ISP problem if you are only gaming online. Check internet speed using Speed Test.

How do I know what bios settings I had when I got the pc? Because I put them back to default.

Hi @max_ti

The factory BIOS settings would be in the same configuration as setting the BIOS to defaults.

Setting the BIOS to defaults would not be an issue unless you changed the factory BIOS settings.

Is this happening when you are gaming online?

Download and run Heaven Benchmark to see how the system performs. Check online for other CPU tests and GPU tests to check performance.
