The omen control doesnt work so i can't switch the colors off the LED at the front off the chassi

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

While you respond to that, I recommend you download and install the system event utility from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

It was along time ago maybe 9 months ago it started to just switch between the colors instead of staying on the one i chose. 

I havent done any changes to the PC.

I looked at other HP threads where the support put out a link to some drivers i tried them but failed. My guess is that those drivers were for other models of the PC.

I recommend you perform a system restore on the computer back to the date when the Omen control was working fine and check if it helps.

 

Follow the steps in the below artilce to perform a system restore.
