OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 880-050
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The front of my PC tower has the Omen logo displayed as a bright, garish red light. The light also shines down onto the floor, and out the back. I would like to turn it off. The documentation says it can be changed on Omen Command Center and shows one of the tabs in the upper left. However my OCC only has 3 tabs - Home, Network Booster, and Overclocking - and doesn't have the option to change the LED. Before I get out the duct tape, is there any way I can turn this light off?

Hi
no, you have to disconnect the corresponding cables directly from the motherboard

if this one

it's quite small, and not obvious

you should have voodoo 1 connector

no need to disassemble everything like here, you can just unplug the cables, but put them away, then
