Hello, I was looking for some help in searching for upgrades for my computer. I just recently purchased it and it's my first computer in about 10 years so I'm a. Bit out of the game. I recently ordered a hard drive upgrade and was looking to get another stick of ram, but in the site that shows the specs there is a note under memory that says " 32 bit systems cannot adress a full 4.0gb of memory" and I'm not entirely sure what that means. If anyone could explain I would be grateful.

Hi:

Your PC came with W10 64 bit from HP, so that statement is not applicable to your situation.

I don't think that W10 32 bit would even install on your model.  32 bit operating systems are not supported.

HP's specs state you can install 2 x 16 GB of memory in your PC for a total of 32 GB.

That is probably sufficient, but the Crucial memory report indicates that you can install 2 x 32 GB of memory in your PC.

With W10 Home 64 bit, I believe the maximum amount of memory you can install is 128 GB.
