HP Omen 17-cb0016nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!
I'm upgrading some parts of my Omen 17. I've started with the installation of an SSD Samsung a1 TB capacity, SATA 2.5''. No problem, apparently, with the mechanical installation, the original memory connector is compatible. Fixed the screws, connected also the flat end connector on the motherboard and closing the back case. Started the PC, opening on "my computer" no appearance of the new SSD mounted. Using Speccy as system information displayer and it found the SSD, with all the specification, so no problem with the connection.

So, what's wrong with my PC or my installation?

Hi:

If it is a brand new SSD, you will need to initialize the disk in the Windows disk management app.
