Overheating and fan problems with my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 790-0001nf

Hello, I've been using my PC for 2 years now and I noticed that the PC was very hot when I touched it so I've downloaded some softwares to know the temperature. I found out that my CPU's I'm peaking 100°C while playing and around 50°C in rest. My GC is peaking 80°C in game and is around 50°C in rest. I've been looking through all the internet and I came out with the hypothesis that it comes from my fans, the problem is that I see only one of the 4 fans I have (I have 2 "external" fans and 2 in my graphic card), the one who's visible is one of the two fans from my GC.

I've cleaned a little bit my computer, especially the fans and the air outlets and it didn't changed anything. I tried to curb my performances via windows's power management pannel, didn't work either (there is no point of doing this because I'm supposed to use my computer's power FULLY by the way).

I'd like to know how could I get into the bios's advanced options EVENTHOUGH HP don't recomment it at all, so I can change my fans speed because I can see that they are really slow. I've called the support but of course he asked me to do (st*pid) things like reseting the bios and then he told me that I should make it repaired but of course it costs almost 400€ (but business is business huh).

I'm posting this because I absolutely don't know what to do to fix all these issues, I'm desperated.

But cleaning it is a good start, which you already did. I personally replaced the sock cooling solution with much better aftermarket one, also I installed 2 intake fans to create a positive pressure inside the case. I understand that most people will not bother to modify or are afraid to do it, so outside of hardware modifications, there are little that you can do to make things better unfortunately. 

Oh and to enter the Bios, try F10.

Cleaning might help if your inlets are blocked and there isn't much air that can enter the PC. 1 way to find out if its just lack of cool air vs some components eg your fans or even the thermal paste needs reapplication because of a sloppy job done in the first place needs some attention. 

Open up the case and see if you still get that over heating at 100c. 

another thing you can consider is swapping out with a decent CPU Cooler. depending on your Chassis size you can consider those 120mm Fan coolers like the cooler master 212 or notcua U12s. Its not too difficult to replace those and there are tons of youtube videos teaching you how to install them. This would reduce your CPU temp significantly.

What is your computer resting upon?  There is a bottom grill (intake). Here are 2 videos.

Although this is a video to replace the hard drive, it clearly shows how to get to the grill from the inside.

This software will let you monitor the fan speeds.  Start it, run your game, and go back to it to see the speed min - max.  Then you can report back the RPM's.   Your CPU max is 100C, and that does matter.  You can measure the rear case fan, to sssure it is a 92mm fan, with this article.  If the rear case fan is not running up to 2000 RPM, a Noctura 92mm 4 pin PWM fan would help. The fan replacement is straight forward, as shown here.

Thank you for your reply ! I'm not going to buy some fans cuz the one I paid for are supposed to work as they should, this PC cost me an arm for real.

For the bios, I've been looking through and I don't see any fans settings, I only have the number of rpm for one of the fans. I saw on an other post that HP don't allow their **bleep**ing customers to modify their product as they want, first time i'm buying an HP product and it's the last time.

My computer is standing on my table next to my screen so I don't have any problems with the ventilation.

For the GC fan speed, it's running around 1950 RPM and peak around 2000 RPM, peaking at a tempeture around 80°C and it's a Nvidia GTX 1080. I don't have the infos about the two others and I still don't know why I only see my GC fan.

I'm not going to change my fans anyway because this PC cost me about 1500€, it's **bleep**ing expensive and it's not normal that I would have to buy new fans just to fix a problem that shouldn't happen.

I just want to know how to change this freaking fan rpm value.
