OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop PC GT22-0000i (393C5AV)

OMEN 45L with RTX 3090 crashes on games and benchmarks. When checking with HP PC Hardwarediagnostis Windows everything is ok.
What could be the reason?

Hi @orion55

Playing games and running benchmarks test system stability.

Crashing indicates you may have a: CPU, MB, or graphics card thermal problem or you may have faulty hardware. Or you could  have system file corruption or buggy hardware drivers.

Have you checked component temps? Try HWiNFO Portable.

A faulty power supply can also cause weird stuff.

If in warranty contact HP Support. Or have a local PC tech diagnose the problem.

Run the following commands, one at a time, at an administrative command prompt:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

sfc /scannow

I would back up data. Do a Windows reset or clean Windows install. Only run CPU and graphics card benchmarks to test system stability. Keep user program file installations to a minimum. But update Nvidia 3090 drivers.

You probably have a hardware or thermal problem if the PC crashes using a clean Windows install.
