PC not performing as marketed
10-18-2019 06:16 PM

When I purchased this computer, it showcased being able to run Gears of War 4 without issue. I have had this PC for a month or two now and I can't run anything graphical intensive. Gears of War 4 on the lowest settings runs at 30 FPS with a lot of screen tears and CoD WW2 runs at like 10 FPS. Battlefield isn't even playable at around 5 FPS. I made sure that I am plugged into the rx580 and not the integrated graphics card but I can't get it to run correctly. Can someone help?

@Goron3900 , welcome to the forum.
Here are the system requirements for Gears of War 4. As you will see, the computer specifications are mixed between the Minimum and Recommended requirements. This means that the game will run, but not necessarily at high settings. I suggest that you install the latest AMD driver for the video card to see if that helps. Also, update all of the other drivers.
You should look at the system requirements for the other games to see how your system compares.

Thank you for the response. Looking at the specs. My RX 580 is above the recommended RX 480. And my Ryzen 2400 is also above the recommended. I can't even play it on the lowest graphics without it running very choppy. I've made sure the drivers are updated.

Thank you for the additional information, @Goron3900!
Here is a guide that may help you increase the speed of your computer. The only other thing that I can suggest is talk to the seller that told you the computer would run these games to see what they have to say.
