Hello,

My friend and I wanted to change his GPU. So we wanted to see if the PSU could support a new GPU. So we opened the case and we took out the GPU and the PSU. We cleaned the GPU because it was dusty and we looked up the PSU, turned out it isn't powerful enough. So we put back the GPU and the PSU (we had already disconnected the cable before opening). When we closed the pc and wanted to start it, it did three long bip and three short bip. We looked it up to find some GPU issues but the graphics card was properly slide in place so we don't know the issue.

(He has a i5 10600 and a gtx 1650)

Please help us 🙌🏼 🙂

Greetings @Yonecer

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I can only guess either: the PSU or the GPU have not been reinstalled correctly if the PC was working prior to removing both components.

Or, you are experiencing a coincidental component failure.

Try onboard CPU graphics if the PC's CPU supports this and the HP case supports this (rear I/O HDMI out or DP out).

Try a different discrete graphics card if the PC works using onboard graphics or if you can't do onboard graphics. Or reinstall the 1650 again.

You could also have a PSU problem if the PC will not POST when using onboard graphics or while using a different graphics card.

Regards
