Q: Is there any way to customize, or even turn off, the two green LEDs without unplugging the LEDs from the motherboard?
A: I don't believe that there is a way to control or turn off the LED lights in the case. I have had several HP desktops with the lights and there has never been any controls for them, except to change colors with Omen Command Center.
Q: Are there any conflicts to adding a second M.2 SSD? I see there are 2x M.2 slots, and I'm not sure what else I would use that for.
A: One of the sockets is for a M.2 socket 1, 2230 type for WLAN and the other is for a M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD. You can't use the first socket for a M.2, SSD. Here is the Motherboard Specifications page for the computer. Look at the section titled "Expansion Slots" to see the information that I provided.
