Hi,
Look, a new PC should not randomly shutdown. HP factory images should be stable. You may have a hardware issue or a heat issue.
This is true if the PC is pristine; you have not installed anything which may have caused the problem.
Back up data and do a clean install, reset the PC, or use HP Recovery to set the PC back to factory specs. Do all Windows updates.
Don't install anything else which could cause this problem.
Run Prime95 (Link) to stress the CPU. Run Furmark (Link) to stress the graphics card. Install these programs only to test the system.
I would return/exchange as soon as possible if the PC is unstable.
Regards
