Hello everyone,
I wanted to know if anyone with the same motherboard model (HP Dorado OC GT12) has found a method to increase the frequency of RAM memory above 3000 mhz from the bios? (with 16 GB.)
Thank you!

@Giorgio90 , welcome to the Community.
I believe the problem that you are experiencing is caused by the fact that HP doesn't use XMP's to overclock their memory. They use the standard JDEC's added to the memory sticks by the manufacturers. Also, HP's motherboards can be a bit particular when it comes to using some third-party memory. They don't necessarily do anything to cause the rejection, but their motherboards are built to their specifications and third-party memory doesn't meet their specifications.

Thank you for your reply.
from the bios I can set the XMP profile n.2 to 3000 mhz but if I select the XMP profile n.1 to make it go to 3600 mhz the PC does not boot. I've tried 2 Kingstone models that support a frequency of 3600 mhz (FURY and RENEGADE) but I can't get them to go higher than 3000 mhz.
If there are ram models already synchronized at high frequency as you claim, where can I find them? Otherwise some other model more compatible with the motherboard?
Thanks again.

Thank you for the additional information, @Giorgio90!
I never know which BIOS'es have XMP's added or which ones don't. Again, HP motherboards have problems with some of the third-party gaming memory. It is almost impossible to know which memory will work with the HP BIOS'es. I can't recommend any because it may not work. I suggest contacting the memory manufacturer's Tech Support to see if they can help you choose memory that will overclock using HP XMP's.
