RAM compatibility

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion tg01 with the motherboard 8643 (SMVB), I wanted to know if the Lexar ddr4 ram bars are compatible. Thank you for your answer. Have a nice day

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I do not know if Lexar memory would work with your HP MB.

However, I think the most reliable memory upgrade path for the Erica MB, MB SSID 8643, would be Crucial memory.

You should be able to use the Crucial memory scanner to get compatible memory upgrade options.

I have never seen a memory compatibility problem on HP MBs using Crucial memory. And the Crucial memory may (not guaranteed) run at 3200 MT/s.

You could also download and try Ryzen Master (3000 series to 8000 series processors) on your PC's AMD MB to bump the Crucial memory up to 3200 MT/s if needed.

 Hello, okay so I'm going to buy some crucial vengeance RS 2x8go, even if it doesn't indicate on site web  that it's compatible with my motherboard, I currently have a crucial ballistix 8go and I don't have a problem with it

The Corsair RAM might get stuck at 2133 MT/s or 2400 MT/s.

But you could still try Ryzen Master.

I kind of thought the Corsair RAM would run at 2133 MT/s or 2400 MT/s.

You could try Ryzen Master. Ryzen Master may or may not help.

Check this YouTube video on how to use Ryzen Master to speed up the RAM.

Let the Forum know if you can overclock the Corsair memory.
