OMEN 35L Gaming Desktop PC GT16-0000i (9X6A4AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I have the same problem for my OMEN 35L after the Omen Hub Update today...but none of the errors you encountered.

EDIT: RAM sticks (Kingston Fury Beast) rgb lighting does work, but fan/cooler rgb lights are unresponsive to the hub settings.

@GrEn86, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like after an update to the Omen Hub, you're encountering issues where the fan and cooler RGB lighting is not responding to the hub’s settings, even though the RAM lighting is working fine. Since the Kingston Fury Beast RGB is functional but other RGB components (fan/cooler) aren’t responding, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

Reset the Omen Hub Settings

Restore Default Settings: Open Omen Hub and try resetting the RGB settings to defaults. This could resolve any conflicts that might have arisen after the update.

Clear Cache: Try clearing the app’s cache or settings in case there’s corrupted data causing the issue.

Reinstall RGB Drivers

Update Drivers: Sometimes, issues like this arise if the RGB drivers for the motherboard or RGB controller are outdated.

Go to the HP Support Page and check if there are updated drivers for your OMEN 35L’s RGB control.

Reinstall any drivers related to RGB functionality (e.g., motherboard chipset or fan controller drivers).

Check for Firmware updates

Firmware Update: Sometimes, the RGB controller on your cooler/fan might need a firmware update to be fully compatible with newer software versions like Omen Hub.

Look for firmware updates for your cooler or fan.

Check HP’s official site for any firmware updates related to your OMEN 35L.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
