I have just ordered a new HP Omen i7 gaming PC. My first new PC in 8 years. Very excited. 

I’d like to upgrade the 16gb ram to 32gb. Can someone let me know what I’d need to order please?

Your Obelisk can use up to 32GB (2x16) of ram.

According to your specs, it comes with a 16GB stick of Hyper-X 2666Mhz memory.

You will want to add another stick that matches what you have now as far as timings/voltage is concerned.

This will ensure compatibility and enable dual channel support.

 

I would wait until you get the system and make sure everything is working as it should out of the box. Then install a tool like CPUz and find the timings of the current stick. Then you can order another one to match.
