Hi looking to update the ram to 32 could any one tell me which ram would be best got 16 ram at moment. Plus will be be compatible with the old drum 8GB Kingston 2933MHz

It has (now)

HyperX XMP 16 GB

  • Amount: 16 GB
  • Speed: PC4-23400 MB/s
  • Type: DDR4-2933

The best option is to use same existing16GB because getting XMP for other RAM is a very hard task. You can use the following tool to see what it has now:

 

         https://download.cpuid.com/cpu-z/cpu-z_2.03-en.exe      (look at SPD tab)
