Re: Dual Monitor Connection via HDMI

HP Recommended
I have this same desktop, we purchased it because the graphics card installed is powerful enough to fully utilize Cam software we use to operate our CNC router. I have tried all of the above suggestions and cannot get the PC to detect a second monitor please advise

Hello  Eccurr2

Just to make sure, I assume you are plugging into the Dedicated Graphics Card, not the ports on the I/O shield, correct?

Because the integrated graphics is disabled when a PCIe Graphics card is installed.

If so, there should be nothing special you need to do. If the monitor works, it should be recognized.

How are you connecting it? Have you tried a different cable?

If you go into the Device Manager, does the second monitor show under Monitors?
