OMEN PC - 870-224
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Had a major system failure and reinstalled Windows 10 home to latest version. I had removed the GTX-1060 video card first.

Now that the system is all restored, I want to reinstall the GTX-1060.  After installing the card I get no video from the ports on the card or the built-in HDMI ports .

Hi,

You should have video if the 1060 is the HP factory installed graphics card unless the card has failed or you did not connect the required six pin PSU connection to the graphics card. Reseat the card and verify the six pin connection.

Try this graphics card in a different PC if possible.

Try disabling Secure Boot and enabling Legacy Support in the BIOS (Link to instructions) using integrated graphics only, remove the 1060. Then try the card again or try a different card in this PC.

You could have a motherboard (MB) issue if you can't use integrated graphics when the 1060 is removed from the MB.

Regards
