Singal In out of range // XBOX One

Since 10 minutes I have the following problem: When I put on my xbox and HP Compaq I'll first get the 'starting up' message. The current MONITOR STATUS. Than I get to see this: 'Signal In out of range. Change settings in 1440x900 - 50Hz. Before I had this problem I played on the settings H = 67kHz V=60Hz . Than I went to Video Settings and changed it to 1080HP. I tried this a couple of times before. Normally I could click any button on my controller and the message (the Signal In out of range message) would be gone in 2 seconds or so. Now it can't. After a while the monitor goes on sleep mode.  I can control my Xbox, though, but the HP monitor isn't working. If I want to change the settings, the button on the monitor does not work either. Can somebody help me out because I'm really worried I can't play on my current monitor. I actually want to leave HP because of this problem, if it not gets solved. I just want to play again. Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

@Tobiasvdbroek, welcome to the forum.

 

The native resolution for the monitor is 1440 x 900 @ 60Hz.  This is why it is telling you to change to that resolution.  I don't believe that the problem is being caused by the monitor.  It sounds more like the signal from the XBox is not good.  I suggest that you contact Microsoft's Customer Support for help.  They are the experts for their products.
