Product: HP OMEN 870-224 NA
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
This article (https://support.hp.com/sk-en/document/c06711589) explains how to do a reinstall (basically, uninstall first), but you can just download and install (for instance, if you did a full fresh install of Windows 10, this works on 20H2 on my 870-224, but should also work on all 870-2xx's) in this order:
- HP System Event Utility (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79001-79500/sp79450.exe)
- OMEN Control (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp76501-77000/sp76864.exe)
This will let you configure the front light bar again, YAY! (Please leave this post here for future reference, finding that support article was really hard.)
