Hi! The product number is : 4NM65AA#ABA. I have found out I can add an ssd drive under the current hdd drive: I see an extra power supply: and I see an open port labeled hdd2. Now I’m curious which sata cable I need..?   You will need a standard SATA power cable and data cable.  You can buy them from any local computer shop, such as, BestBuy.  If you give them the model of your computer they will know what you need.  Make certain when you get the SSD installed that you go into "Disk Management" and right click on the drive and select "Mark Partition as Active".  Otherwise, it won't be available for use.

@Jobe271 , welcome to the forum.

What is the full model or product number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. Here is a guide to help you find it:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07555

I suggest that you run CPU-Z:  https://download.cnet.com/CPU-Z/3000-2086_4-10050423.html

You can get the manufacturer and timings on the current memory.  This information is in the tab titled "SPD".  Once you have this information, you can either match the memory exactly or replace it with a matching set.  The memory is "Dual channel (1 DIMM per channel) memory architecture".  The only way that it will work in Dual channel is with a matching set of sticks.  This makes the memory run faster.
