Why would I pay if my laptop is under international warranty please provide me solution i tried contacting hp uae but hp doesn't have proper customer care number or email in uae it was very hard to find this email. @Ejejwj, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

We truly regret to hear about the experience your brother had at the service center and completely understand how important the laptop is for his work. 🙏

To clarify how HP warranty works:

  • HP factory warranty is region-specific. This means if a product is purchased in one region (for example, UAE) and taken to another region (India), the warranty can only be honored in the new country if the same model was officially sold and supported there.
  • If the product model is not sold or supported in India, HP service centers may not have access to compatible parts locally, and in such cases, repairs would be chargeable.
  • For full coverage under warranty, the unit may need to be returned to the original country of purchase (UAE) where parts and support are guaranteed.

We sincerely apologize for the rudeness you mentioned at the service center  that is not the experience we want for our customers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Hardware issues like SSD failures can be frustrating, especially when they interrupt work or gaming. We always recommend regular backups and checking warranty coverage before sending devices internationally. If you're into gaming, feel free to check out our site and download it we cover performance tips and game optimization that might help once your laptop is up and running again.
