Example: Pavilion 15-cx0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I’ve been having issues booting up my device past the recovery state for quite a while. I can’t launch in safe mode, reset my device or anything. Finally I decided to test everything through UEFI. I ran a System Extensive Test and almost immediately I ran into a failed test.

The failure ID is Q4G7LF-95AAN7-XD7W3F-C0F903.

other information on this screen I get is

Battery Check: Primary - Replace (42)

Primary: Logic State - OK (0), Charge State - Blown Fuse (42)

It seems pretty straightforward to me but just so I don’t waste money on something I don’t need, I just need to order a new battery, correct? Is there anything else I should check before I order one or any other issues that may be causing this error?

Hi @Boscel18

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
