HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1022
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP Envy Desktop TE01-1022 product number 13Z69AA with integrated graphics Intel UHD Graphics 630 and 180W gold power supply.

I am running 3 monitors right now, 1HDMI 1 VGA and a third using a USB adaptor with HDMI interface from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OD37KHG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 which is working pretty well. I'm now trying to add a fourth monitor (portable touchscreen). I think I may need to add a graphics card which looks like I will need to add a bigger power supply also. If I'm going there I would prefer Display port capability with DisplayPort 1.2 MST so I might add more monitors thru daisy chain later, if possible.

Any suggestions?

@DonWm62,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Yes, I have a suggestion for you.

The power supply of your HP Envy Desktop TE01-1022 (13Z69AA) as fitted with the Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767) can be upgraded with a number of options, among them a 310-watt, 400-watt and a 500-watt power supply.

You are not necessarily looking for a high-powered graphics card, but preferably a GPU which has four (4) video ports, all being the same (mini-HDMI, DP or HDMI).

One great option, in my opinion, would be this very affordable single-slot card, the AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100, which does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 75-watt maximum. You can buy one for under $110, such as this Amazon purchase option: https://www.amazon.com/AMD-100-505940-Radeon-Retail-Renewed/dp/B07R8XJ3QJ/ref=sr_1_2?crid=ONVKAOAO4G....

You will have to upgrade your power supply to a 310-watt unit, and these power supplies are very affordable (under $32), such as this purchase option via a trusted eBay Seller, who allows for returns: https://www.ebay.com/itm/255959932221?_skw=L08262-001&epid=15057353872&itmmeta=01JV6C65SRVDCSMG04KAV....

Kind Regards,
