I recently bought HP by OMEN Obelisk (875-0141), I'm just wondering in the future if I can upgrade the graphics card and the Processor?? Is GTX GeForce 2060 a good upgrade for this computer? please help me or recommend me things that i need to upgrade in the future. thank you
Current Graphics Card : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (6 GB)
I enjoyed your inquiry. It was very defined, and helpful. The specifications page, as shown here, lists the CPU chips and components. The GTX 1660ti is a 120W card (6.8"). I believe you meant the RTX 2060, a 160W card that can be 9-11". So length is an issue. Both should work with the existing 500W PSU.
If your a gamer then consider this: Gaming performance is based on CPU, motherboard RAM, GPU card and its RAM, and the PSU that powers everything. Right now there is a lot of turmoil in the GPU card arena caused by the new RTX 3000 series cards. These cards are severely back-ordered by the hundreds if not thousand. I would like an RTX 3070, but their not on the market, as yet.
