Hello, how do I troubleshoot the USB-C port on my Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-1000i RCTO Base Model .
We did not learn it wasn't working correctly until after we missed the warranty period. It does not recognize anything we plug into it.
Can the port be replaced with a different one? If so, what would I buy? Thank you.

Greetings @motrae
Welcome to the HP Forum.
It looks like the front panel 3.2 Gen 1.0 USB C port is integrated into the MB. Fixing this port may require a new MB if the port cannot be tweaked to read and write data.
Try cleaning the port with a Dust Buster. I can't think of anything else to do.
Either the port has issues or the USB controller has a problem.
Check Device Manager for driver errors. You wont see an error if the port (hardware) has failed. Windows can't see a device if it does not exist.
