Solved!
Unable to Overclock
04-17-2018 03:42 AM

Device ID 2E42FB82-BFE2-4D02-A8E3-4EEF46E31B95 /Product ID 2E42FB82-BFE2-4D02-A8E3-4EEF46E31B95 which has an i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20 GHz 4.20 GHz
Originally, I had the option/ability for overclocking in the the Omen Command Center. Now when I open the command center, I only have 2 options in the window, Home and Network Booster.
What has changed that I no longer have this option? Is there a fix available, please?
Thank you,

@Michael-Rzpea, welcome to the forum.
I believe that the Omen Command Center in your computer may have been updated to a later version. I have tried for weeks to find a version of OCC that would overclock my Omen X (i7-6700K) and was told that this feature is only available with the 8th generation i7 processors; i.e. i7-8700K versions, by the appropriate person within HP.
I suggest downloading Intel Xtreme Tuning Utility. I have used it with great success. Of course, you overclock the processor and video card at your own risk.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
