Dear HP Support,
I own a Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop – model TG02-1902nc, and I would like to upgrade the power supply unit (PSU) in my system. I am considering the GIGABYTE UD850GM (850W, 80+ Gold, fully modular) power supply.
Could you please confirm whether this PSU is compatible with my desktop in terms of:
- Form factor and size (standard ATX 150x140x86 mm)
- Motherboard power connectors (standard 24-pin ATX + 8-pin CPU)
- Overall compatibility with the internal layout of the TG02-1902nc case
Additionally, I recently sent the PC to an authorized service center due to an issue, but the fault did not reproduce during their testing. I want to ensure that any potential power-related problems are not caused by the current PSU and that upgrading will not affect system stability or warranty.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
Ivana

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade your power supply with an industry standard ATX power supply as your HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-1902nc (8F6S2EA) as fitted with the RenoR2 motherboard (SSID: 8B3B) has a proprietary HP power supply configuration.
There is a compatible 500-watt power supply available with any of these part numbers: L89233-005 / L89233-001 / L77487-001 / L77487-003 / L81009-800 / L05757-800 / 901759-013
And there is a compatible 650-watt power supply with p/n: L57253-003 / L36049-003.
Kind Regards,
