Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Your HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p199na (Y1B84EA) is fitted with the Willow motherboard (SSID: 822A), which is 24-pin ATX-power enabled, which means you can (should) replace your anemic stock 180-watt power supply with any 500+ watt ATX industry standard power supply, as long as you watch the dimensions (LxWxH) for fit.
The reason for this power upgrade is that the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB requires at least a 300 watt power supply. And given that your desktop appears quite roomy, fitting a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB should not be a problem.
Hope this was helpful.

In terms of upgrading your desktop, you need to upgrade your power supply as mentioned. If you were to install a 500 watt power supply, then an RTX 2060 or a GTX 1660 Ti would be much better performing graphics cards than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
Also, you want to consider upgrading your RAM. According to https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-510-p199na, you can fit up to 2 x 16GB DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, UDIMM, 288-pin RAM in your desktop, but you'll probably be fine with 2 x 8GB of RAM.
And if your primary (boot) drive is not an SSD, upgrading to an SSD is another upgrading step to consider.
Of course, all of the above depends on what you want to use your desktop for -and your budget: minimal gaming? More serious gaming? Just browsing the internet and watch Netflix?
Your HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p199na (Y1B84EA) is an older PC, and you should also ask yourself the question whether or not you want to invest in an older system or use your money to buy a new(er) machine -especially if you are not all that PC/tech-savvy.
Anyways, something to think about.
Kind Regards,

manufacturers offer different models.
With characteristics that may vary in dimensions, power supply requirements, performance
prefer smaller size cards if possible
So compare the different graphics cards, measure!

Please be advised that an RX 550 4GB requires a minimum 250-watt power supply (see this equivalent GPU, for example: Sapphire PULSE RX 550 4 GB Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database), and your desktop has an 180-watt power supply. This power deficit is just too great for an RX 550 4GB to work reliably.
