Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

MY pc came with the AMD Ryzen5-2400G, It is a Sunflower Motherboard, Would it be possible to upgrade to the Ryzen 7 3700X, even though the Processor upgrade information does not specify it  https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05939208, yet it supports a max TDP of up to 65 W. The 3700x Is 65 watts and also Has the same AM4 Socket.

any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't know all the things that need to be in line to have a compatible upgrade.

@jarmusic2 , welcome to the forum.

In the "Processor upgrade information" section, of the link that your provided, is a list of compatible processors.  These processors have been fully tested to assure that they will work with the motherboard without any problems.  Any other processors are likely not to work.  HP has their motherboards made to their specifications.  Therefore, they are not necessarily the same as retail boards.
