I have OMEN by HP Desktop PC 880-p0xx thats come with 32 GB Ram (8 GB * 4)
I want to upgrade the RAM memory to have two 16 GB and two 8 GB with total 48 GB
Does the desktop accept this size of RAM 48 ?
How many slots totaly available on it ?

You should be able to open the case and plainly see the 4 ram slots which are occupied.
According to the HP documentation, the Omen 880-000 series will only take up to 32 GB of memory.
From the manual...
If you already have the 16 GB sticks, you can certainly try it. If it doesnt work, switch it back.
Let us know how it turns out.

OK, so if you havent purchased the other ram yet, know that if you use them/try them, most stores wont take them back.
So I would not purchase them unless you find another user that can verify that it will use more than the 32GB limit.
The timings need to match the existing ram also.
