Upgrading My HP OMEN 870-244

Hello I am planning on upgrading the 1070 I have to a 5700 xt the Xfx Thicc 3 ultra to be exact my concern is if the card will fit and I'm having a tough time deciding if it will.

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will tell you how to measure the space where the card will be installed:


You should assure that there is enough space for good airflow.  This is extremely important!!  The new video cards develop a lot of heat.


The power supply unit (PSU) will have to be upgraded, also.  The current PSU is 500W.  Here are the specifications for the card from XFX:


It states that minimum PSU of 600W w/2x8-pin PCIe external power connectors.
