HP ENVY Phoenix 810-000eo Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'd like to know what the possibilities are of upgrading the hard drive to SSD, and if I can use multiple HDD/SSDs. I have a SATA-300 HDD installed but would like to upgrade to an SSD and still have the HDD as backup/storage.

I've had a bit of trouble finding out my exact product specifications but I seem to have a Kaili motherboard (https://support.hp.com/nz-en/document/c03748942).

Hi:

The motherboard specs on your PC's support page shows that it has 2 free SATA ports assuming that one port is taken up by the existing hard drive and one port is taken up by the DVD drive, so you could theoretically have a total of 3 hard drives installed assuming there are 2 free SATA power connectors as well.

You can replace the 3.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD, but you will need to use a 3.5" to 2.5" drive adapter to properly mount the smaller 2.5" SSD where the 3.5" drive is currently mounted.
