Upgrading my gpu

hp dc 7900
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi i was just looking at graphic cards for my pc becuase i wanted to upgrade and found a

MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti DirectX 12 GTX 1050 TI 4GT LP 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card

but im not sure if it would fit my pc at the moment can someone tell me if i can?

Upgrading my gpu

@EthanH123, welcome to the forum.

 

Here is the Illustrated Parts and Service Map for the workstation.

 

I believe the major problem that you will have is the power supply unit (PSU).  It is only 240W.  This is not enough to run a GTX 105 Ti properly.  In fact, I don't believe that it is possible to upgrade the PSU enough to run it.

 

When determining if a video card will fit you should measure the space from the Back I/O ports to the front of the case.  Also, when you need a low-profile card the space above the card is important.
