OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P6AV)

I just got a brand new HP Omen 30l (Ryzen 9 / RTX 3070 Ti). The fan RTX 3070 ti makes a very sharp buzzing noise and I don't think it's normal. Just starting up a game and it makes this noise. Even with a windows update...

Also, the cpu seems to be very hot at idle (70 °C).

Faulty fan?

Solution: GPU fan was scraping something. I turned it by hand a few times and ut stopped making the noise.

Hi

Good to see you corrected the GPU fan buzz. The fan may have been out of alignment.

A CPU temp of 74 C at one percent utilization indicates a possible bad pump, the PC should have a AIO liquid CPU cooler when running a 5900X, or an improper cold plate mount, or incorrect CPU thermal paste application.

I would return/exchange the PC. Otherwise you would have to contact HP for warranty factory support.
