@Playgamz4, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your Victus

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this problem:

Check Connections: Ensure that the USB cable is securely connected to both your Victus computer and the monitor. Disconnect and reconnect the cable to ensure a proper connection.

Monitor Input Source: Make sure the correct input source is selected on your monitor. If your monitor has multiple input options, cycle through them to ensure that the correct one is chosen.

Check the USB Port: Try connecting the USB cable to a different USB port on your computer to rule out the possibility of a faulty port.

Inspect for Hardware Issues: Look for any visible damage to the USB cable or ports. If you suspect damage, consider replacing the cable.

Power Cycling: Turn off your computer and monitor, unplug them from the power source for about 30 seconds, and then plug them back in and turn them on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Update Drivers: Ensure that your graphics and USB drivers are up to date. You can check for these updates through HP’s support site or your computer's device manager.

Boot in Safe Mode: Try booting your computer in safe mode. If you can access the display in safe mode, this might indicate an issue with your graphics driver that can be resolved by updating or reinstalling it.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
